What could be a girl’s best friend? Cliché would always tell us it is the diamond; nonetheless, apart from the brilliance of the diamond, there still exist precious stones that could also be a girl’s perfect best friend.
Precious stones refer to several gems like ruby, sapphire, emerald, topaz and even including diamonds. These types of stones have high financial worth due to its rarity and appearance. These stones have been valued and sought through the ages even way before the ancient times. But aside form the brilliance, rarity and high value of these stones; the precious stones have been adhered not just for manifestation of elegance but also for observance of some cultural, magical and mystical beliefs.

Precious stones or what are commonly called as gems are believed to be the depot of magical power. The divinity and power of every gem stone has been advocated way before the early civilizations. It has been assumed that every gem transmits its magical power once it comes in contact with the human body — sorcerers possess precious stones to perform magic; kings and queens in the early kingdoms have precious stones in their crowns to espouse their power and influence; even high priests in the religious sector, they wore rings and necklaces with precious stones to manifest spiritual power during ceremonial gatherings. In the larger sense, the precious stones do not only manifest mystical essence, moreover, they also manifest societal status and aristocracy.
Precious Heart
The stone ruby is excellent for leaders, rulers and people seated in the government. Pearl is good for mental peace and mood control. Emerald is for mental activities – people who work using their mental alertness. Diamonds are associated for romantic bliss and life’s goodness. These stones may possess magic to change and improve man’s life, but the course of our future always lies in our hands. Yet, these gems could still be a girl’s perfect best friend.
